Elliot & Emily {Engagement Session}

Elliot is my husband's cousin so I was super excited to do this session for him and Emily!

However, his brother is a stellar photographer (and couldn't take the pictures due to distance) so I was also very intimidated to do this for them.

I'm no Oliver, but we had a ton of fun taking the pictures and I really like the way they turned out!

Carson & Camille {Couples Session}

This girl and I were roommates 5 years ago, which is so crazy to think about.

Now her and Carson have been married for a whole year!

And I was lucky enough to be able to photograph this wonderful time for them.

I took his newborn photos a year ago, and it is so fun to see how big he is now!

His mama was well prepared for this shoot and made him the most darling outfit for the railroad photos.

And the cake smash was absolutely adorable to watch!

Updates!

Hello all!

I have some exciting news for all my clients!!

First:

Each client will now receive my new packaging for all discs of edited images

The Starnes family will be the first clients to receive the new look!

I absolutely love the new look, and I am SO excited for everyone to start getting these!

Each will come with a business card and print release.

For in state clients, they will receive two business cards and here's why

If you can read the note you will see that I am now doing a referral program!

Each instate client will receive one business card for themselves, and one for a friend.

Now whenever you refer a friend to C.Thiel Photography (and they book, and go through with a session) you will receive 10% off of your next session!

This is something I will be doing continually. It is not just a seasonal or monthly special.

I wanted to do something to show my clients how much I truly appreciate them, and thought this would be a good way to do it.

Second:

I've been asking for and getting some great feedback from clients lately on how to make my business better for myself and for them.

The biggest point that was made was an update of my prices.

I have had so many clients "tip" me because they do not think I charge enough.

I've always tried to keep my prices at a lower rate than the competitors because I realize I live in a college town where money doesn't come by all that easily.

And they are still reasonable for my current location

{so don't freak out}

I just made some small changes to a few sessions.

I really just love my clients.

Third:

Christmas is just around the corner and that means Christmas cards are now on the minds of many.

So...

All mini-shoot sessions come with 15 edited images.

I really am so blessed to be able to capture the memories of so many people

I absolutely love my job as a photographer, and hope it only grows from here.

The main reason I've decided to make all of these changes and updates is because I am trying to transition my on the side photography job to my one and only job.

It's a very scary transition for me to make that comes with a lot of risk, but I am determined to make it work because of the passion I have behind it.
